Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on the Appian low-code platform.

You will build scalable, record-centric apps and develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into functional solutions, leading design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise apps on the Appian low-code platform.
• Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of modules.
• Mentor junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards.

Role Description:

• Lead design discussions and perform code reviews
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
• Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams
• Support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives

Managerial skills, nice to have

• Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of assigned modules
• Mentor and coach junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards
• Conduct code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams
• Track progress, identify risks, and raise issues escalations proactively
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, and Appian development standards
• Support release planning, cutover activities, and postproduction stabilization
• Provide input on resourcing, technical dependencies, and solution feasibility
