Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a production support specialist to help maintain the stability and reliability of mission-critical systems. You will assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documenting resolutions under guidance.

The role involves monitoring applications, addressing L1/L2 issues, escalating complex problems to ensure timely resolution within SLAs, and contributing to runbooks and knowledge bases to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting production systems and resolving incidents within SLAs.
• Ability to document issues and fixes for knowledge bases and runbooks.
• Familiarity with change and release processes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Support stability and reliability of production systems with guided fixes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues (L1/L2) and escalate when needed.
• Monitor applications and alerts, identify basic anomalies, and implement preventive measures.
• Contribute to problem management through documenting recurring issues and root cause analysis.
• Support minor enhancements and fixes to improve system performance under supervision.
• Assist with change and release activities to ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain service continuity.
• Maintain and update runbooks, documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Support automation by identifying repetitive tasks and developing simple scripts.
