About This Opportunity
In this highly collaborative role, you will assist in providing revenue and profit guidance for day-to-day operations and strategic planning with the goal of accelerating profitable growth. You will report to the Sr. Manager, RGM and be a key business partner to the Large Store Sales Team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Business Proposals & Scenario Evaluations: Support the creation of business proposals and scenario evaluations for customer opportunities. Provide analysis of customer investments through P&L analysis, including recommendations based on ROI’s and associated accrual calculations.
- Promotion & Trade Spend Optimization: Help integrate promotion optimization and trade spend optimization insights.
- Business Planning: Assist in building planning files and assessing key assumptions, including volume/rate/mix impacts for both base business and new sources of growth.
- Pricing & Revenue Performance: Create and update reports to monitor pricing and revenue performance against business plans and proactively highlight pricing issues.
- Product Portfolio & Pricing Optimization: Action insights from commercial, sales, and operations teams for product portfolio optimization and pricing/profit optimization.
- Oversee Trade Spend Accruals: Oversee trade spend accruals and subledger risks and opportunities.
- Revenue Rate Projections: Deliver accurate revenue rate projections by customer for financial rolling estimates (RE).
Qualifications
- 1+ years related work experience in business analysis (sales, category management, commercial or finance preferred).
- University degree or college diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- High degree of financial acumen with experience in P&L management and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with an ability to model large data sets.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail and innovative thinking.
- Ability to multi-task and re-organize in response to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience with SAP-Power BI reporting, Tableau, AC Nielsen, and introductory data science or programming languages is an asset.
