Job summary

Air Canada seeks a qualified analyst to drive business cases and analytic evaluations for the Aeroplan program and related products. You will work with the Products and Loyalty teams to support strategic recommendations and partnerships, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.

  • Manage performance and drive execution excellence.
  • Use Power BI and SQL to analyze Aeroplan KPI data for meetings and ad hoc requests.
  • Demonstrate agility when facing new challenges and changes.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Commercial Management, the person occupying this position is responsible for business cases, analytical evaluations and performance management for Air Canada products and the Aeroplan program.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze problems and situations, as well as their impacts on the Loyalty and Products business units.
  • Work directly with the Products team to support strategic recommendations for product investments. Examples may include the financial impacts of a new lounge investment or a new onboard catering technology platform.
  • In close collaboration with the Loyalty team, develop solutions and support business cases related to internal and external partnerships, technology enhancements, and program modifications.
  • Manage performance, being accountable yourself for performing assigned tasks effectively and holding others to do the same, and focus on execution excellence.
  • Using Power BI and SQL, analyze data relating to key performance indicators of the Aeroplan program and products in order to respond to ad hoc performance requests and support regular operational and financial performance meetings.
  • Respond with resourcefulness and demonstrate agility in the face of new challenges and requirements.
  • Effectively manage the pressures and complexities of various situations and progress in a positive and productive manner under conditions of change or uncertainty.
Qualifications
