Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking an Associate Pension Administrator to join our team in Toronto. You will administer group annuity plans, process data updates, perform pension calculations, and respond to client inquiries, helping plan members access retirement benefits.

Ideal candidates have a post-secondary education in business/finance or actuarial science, 0–2 years in defined benefit or defined contribution pension administration, strong analytics, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.
• 0–2 years of Defined Benefit or Defined Contribution pension administration experience.
• Sharp analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard pension benefit calculations (retirements, terminations, etc.) in accordance with plan rules and legislative requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end pension statements.
• Work with pension databases and Morneau Shepell’s internal software/systems.
• Receive and respond to routine plan enquiries and requests from clients.
• Take direction from and support senior team members and attend internal training sessions.

In this role, you'll help thousands of plan members understand and access their hard-earned retirement and benefits—work that directly impacts their financial security and peace of mind.
