Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking a motivated electrical/computer engineering student for an interim hardware engineering internship in Toronto. You will learn to work on analog circuit design, model verification, and AMS co-simulation alongside senior engineers.

You will gain hands-on experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL, SPICE simulations, and CAD tools, while preparing for future roles in hardware environments and continuing education. Housing stipend and industry exposure offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical or Computer Engineering University program.
• Knowledge of SPICE simulators and simulation methods.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of world-class engineers who are very willing to help when needed and are happy to receive help when offered.
• Ensure analog circuit performance adheres to the specifications set by previous versions of the design and system model simulations.
• Analog behavior modeling using SystemVerilog and run AMS co-sim to validate models
• Propose design and verification strategies to ensure high quality design.
• Present simulation data for peer review.
• Document design features and key testbench performance metrics.
