Cineplex Inc. is seeking an Amusement Cashier in Barrie to deliver an engaging guest experience at The Rec Room. You will manage transactions, educate guests on offerings, and assist with set-ups for events, while maintaining POS accuracy and store standards.

Applicants should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and Smart Serve certification. This is a part-time role with varied shifts and the ability to work alone for full shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Strong numerical and quick addition skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to manage a counter and its contents.
• Smart Serve Certification (18+).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, well-stocked counter during shifts.
• Provide exceptional service and entertaining experience to guests.
• Upsell retail items and educate guests on product features.
• Handle cash and process transactions per procedures.
• Follow POS procedures and cash handling standards.
• Set up and tear down for events and activities.
• Inform guests about pricing for events and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety policies and respond to inquiries.
