Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is recruiting for an Amusement Cashier at The Rec Room Roundhouse. This role reports to the Amusement Manager and is based at 255 Bremner Blvd in Toronto, ON. You will promote an outstanding entertainment experience and ensure transactions follow Rec Room policies.

The position is a part-time role with duties including cash handling, upselling, guest education, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests of all ages.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cashier counter is clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide excellent service and an entertaining guest experience.
• Upsell retail items and explain products to guests.
• Handle cash and process transactions per Rec Room procedures.
• Follow POS procedures and maintain accuracy in cash handling.
• Set up and tear down for events and activities.
• Inform guests about pricing for events, promotions, and daily programs.
• Enforce site health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Address guest questions and relay concerns to Supervisors.

Job Description

Cineplex Entertainment, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is currently recruiting for the position of Amusement Cashier - The Rec Room Roundhouse, reporting to the Amusement Manager - The Rec Room Roundhouse. This position will be based at our Toronto Rec Room located at 255 Bremner Blvd. in Toronto, ON. The Amusement Cashier will be responsible for promoting an outstanding entertainment experience to our guests in accordance with The Rec Room’s standards of operation. He/she will ensure all transactions are entered correctly adhering to Rec Room policies and procedures. The Amusement Cashier will also be well versed in the Rec Room offerings to educate guests on maximizing their visit.

Job Duties

• Ensure counter is well maintained, cleaned and well stocked.
• Delivers exceptional service and entertainment experience to guests.
• Upsell retail items as well as prizing and help the guest understand how the product functions.
• Cash handling and processing transactions in accordance with The Rec Room’s standards and The Rec Room’s cash handling procedures.
• POS procedures
• Set up and tear down for functions, events and activities
• Ensures that guests are aware of pricing for special events, promotions and daily events
• Ensure guests adhere to the site and Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Effectively handle and relay all guest inquiries, questions, and concerns to the Supervisors.

Qualifications
