Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. in Dorval, QC is seeking two experienced M2 Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for the evening shift on a permanent full-time basis.

You will report to the Director of Maintenance and perform scheduled routine maintenance tasks, certification releases, and defect rectifications alongside a collaborative team. The role requires an M2 license (or progress), strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, and the ability to read English-language technical docs.

Qualifications

  • Requires M2 license (or in progress).
  • Fluency in English and French for documentation and comms.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled routine maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Carry out aircraft maintenance release certification.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify defects found during inspections or reported by flight crews.

We are currently seeking two (2) experienced M2 Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team on the evening shift.

Your Role

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing scheduled routine maintenance tasks assigned by the coordinator
  • Carrying out aircraft maintenance release certification
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying defects identified during inspections or reported by flight crews
Profile & Requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations
  • M2 License (or in progress)
  • Ability to work in accordance with aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
  • Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Eligible for a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
