A leading aerospace company is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with an M1 License for a full-time permanent position. This role involves maintaining aircraft per airworthiness standards, conducting inspections, and reporting on work completed. Job description

Position Title

Position Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) – M1 License

Employment Type

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location

Location: Sudbury, ON and Dryden, ON

Salary

Salary: $39.25 - $53.09/hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the aircraft in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards and OEM instructions.
  • Carry out maintenance, repair and daily inspection of the company aircraft as detailed in the company Maintenance Policy Manual.
  • Complete and certify work reports for all work accomplished on the aircraft.
  • Follow company procedures as per the Maintenance Policy Manual using safe work practices.
  • Conduct both heavy and line maintenance on aircraft.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in a high-performance culture.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
  • Valid Transport Canada M1 License
  • Newly licensed welcome. Preference will be given to piston and Honeywell Turboprop experience.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Proven track record of success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability in the summer months to be positioned with aircraft in the field for periods of 2 weeks.
