Job summary

AAA-Canada in Mirabel, QC is seeking an M2 licensed aircraft mechanic to join our regulated MRO team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on operating and heavy aircraft, following AMM/SRM procedures and Transport Canada standards.

This role rewards methodical, autonomous professionals who read technical docs in English and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure safe, on-time return to service.

Qualifications

• Valid M2 license (or eligible).
• Training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent MRO experience.
• Experience with aerospace documentation (AMM, SRM).
• Ability to read procedures in English.
• French/English bilingualism is a major asset.
• Rigorous, autonomous, detail-oriented, and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on aircraft.
• Carry out inspections per approved maintenance programs.
• Diagnose mechanical, structural, or system defects.
• Repair/replace components per manuals.
• Follow AMM and SRM procedures.
• Document work in technical records and maintenance systems.
• Ensure compliance with Transport Canada and MRO standards.
• Collaborate with technical, quality, and engineering teams.
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality rules.
