Job summary

Starlink-Aviation in Dorval, Quebec, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance tasks and support certification activities in a safe, regulated environment. The role emphasizes adherence to procedures and quality standards in daily operations.

Under supervision of the Director of Maintenance, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft and components while maintaining compliance with the MPM and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• Proficient with computers and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of maintenance procedures and operations.
• Eligible to work in Canada and RAIC-ready.
• Class 5 driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on aircraft, components, and equipment within the fleet.
• Comply with the maintenance procedures and standards established in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).
• Identify and report any discrepancies or outstanding work to Maintenance Coordinators, including through the carry-over process.
• Participate in correcting deficiencies and perform maintenance tasks in accordance with safety standards for themselves, colleagues, and customers.

Your Role

Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, your role will consist of performing routine maintenance tasks scheduled by your coordinator.

Your responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on the aircraft, components, and equipment within the fleet.
• Comply with the maintenance procedures and standards established in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).
• Identify and report any discrepancies or outstanding work to Maintenance Coordinators, including through the “carry-over” process.
• Participate in correcting deficiencies and perform maintenance tasks in accordance with safety standards for themselves, colleagues, and customers.

Required qualifications :

• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience;
• Proficient with computers and diagnostic tools;
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations;
• Perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals;
• Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
• Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
• Class 5 driver’s licence.
