Job summary

Starlink Aviation in Dorval, QC, is seeking an aircraft maintenance technician to perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications under supervision. You will work with licensed personnel to ensure compliance with MPM procedures and aircraft specifications.

Requirements include 1–3 years of experience, proficiency with computers and diagnostic tools, fluency in French and English, eligibility for RAIC, a Class 5 license, and Canadian citizenship or permanent resident

Qualifications

Job description

Your Role

Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, your role will consist of performing routine maintenance tasks scheduled by your coordinator.

Your responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on the aircraft, components, and equipment within the fleet.
  • Comply with the maintenance procedures and standards established in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or outstanding work to Maintenance Coordinators, including through the “carry-over” process.
  • Participate in correcting deficiencies and perform maintenance tasks in accordance with safety standards for themselves, colleagues, and customers.
Required qualifications :
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience;
  • Proficient with computers and diagnostic tools;
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations;
  • Perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals;
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
  • Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
  • Class 5 driver’s licence.
