Job summary

Purolator is seeking an AM Sorter to join its Sorting Team within the Operations Department. You will unload and sort freight, scan, cube and reweight shipments, and help maintain accurate, timely handling while building strong relationships with couriers and colleagues.

Shift: Monday to Friday (5:00 AM – 9:15 AM). Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, work with urgency in time-sensitive environments, and wear CSA-approved safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight efficiently and accurately
• Preloading up to 5 trucks while managing freight pulled off conveyor belts
• Scanning, cubing, and reweighting shipments to ensure proper handling
• Building positive relationships with team members, including couriers, lead hands, and sorters
• Working with conveyor and roller belts inside trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles
