Job summary

Purolator in Kingston, Ontario is seeking an AM Sorter to unload and sort freight, scan and reweight packages, and support the Sorting Team during early morning hours.

The role requires teamwork, a sense of urgency, and strong organizational skills. Start immediately with weekly pay and a temporary-to-permanent opportunity in a logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive environment.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight efficiently and accurately.
• Preloading up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belts.
• Scanning, cubing, and reweighting packages to ensure proper handling.
• Building positive relationships with team members including couriers, lead hands, and sorters.
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles.

Shift:

Monday to Friday 4:30am to 8:15am (Early morning)

What's the Job?

• Unloading and sorting freight efficiently and accurately
