Whistler Blackcomb is seeking an Alpine Restaurant Assistant Manager for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 in Whistler, BC. You will assist Restaurant Managers with daily dining operations to ensure teamwork, quality and a superior guest experience.

The role supports scheduling, training and staff development across front and back of house. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years restaurant experience with supervisory exposure, a ServSafe certification, and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's or Culinary degree preferred.
• ServSafe certification or regional equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of restaurant experience, 1+ years supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to all guest needs with responsive, friendly service.
• Assist managing dining operations and performance for front and back of house, including training, scheduling, and directing staff.
• Review staff performance and provide feedback and direction, including recognition or corrective action.
• Assist with hiring, cash management, reservations, purchasing, inventory, and records management; may act as manager in absence of Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain facility standards for food prep, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
• Participate in leadership forums providing feedback on dining operations and training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Assistant Managers are an integral part of restaurant operations responsible for assisting Restaurant Managers with daily operations promoting teamwork, quality, and safety to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $57,002.00 - $60,00.00

Job Responsibilities

• Attend to all guest needs in the restaurant ensuring responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Assist managing dining operations and performance for front and back of house, including training, scheduling, and directing staff
• Review staff performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or corrective action including termination if necessary
• Assist with administrative duties including hiring, cash management, reservations, purchasing, inventory, and records management; May act as manager in the absence of Restaurant Manger
• Maintain facility standards for food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on dining operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelors or Culinary degree preferred
• ServSafe certification or regional equivalent required
• 3-5 years of restaurant experience, 1+ years of supervisory experience required
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a shift, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English; bilingual preferred
• Advanced to expert ski/snowboard ability for some locations required
