PACT, based in Mississauga, Ontario, seeks a Security Manager to lead security planning and execution across construction activities. You will align with the CSMP, coordinate with GTAA stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in access control and site security practices.
The role requires deep experience in security operations for large infrastructure projects, strong collaboration with multiple contractors, and familiarity with iLobby and credentialing systems.
PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada’s largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.
The Security Manager for PACT is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of security measures across all construction activities. Working closely with Sub-Program Leads, Site Superintendents, Security Coordinators, PACT stakeholders, and the GTAA, this role ensures that all security requirements are properly integrated into project work, aligned with the PACT Construction Safety Management Plan (CSMP), and compliant with regulatory and airport standards. The Security Manager will also support the development of Access Control Plans, manage stakeholder communications, monitor security performance, and drive continuous improvement in site security and access control practices.
The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to the Airport site as required. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday during regular office or site hours. At times, operational needs may require work outside these hours, with reasonable notice provided. All schedule or on call adjustments will comply with applicable employment standards legislation. It is mandatory for all employees to complete a Criminal Background check and successfully attain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) upon joining the company.
