Job summary

Yellowhead Helicopters Ltd. is seeking an AME - Avionics “E” to certify aircraft after maintenance, inspection, repair or modification.

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance Organization, this role carries high responsibility for avionics systems on Canada’s fleets. The candidate will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures, while supporting pilots and engineers with avionics issues and documenting all

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E license.
• Experience with BK117, Bell 212, and AS350 aircraft is an asset.
• Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
• Formal Aviation Training from a TCCA approved training organization (ATO) preferred.
• Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) with acceptable abstract.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company maintenance procedures.
• Support pilots and engineers with avionics-related issues.
• Supervise, perform and document routine avionics maintenance.

Position Summary

This is a full-time salaried or day rate position. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance Organization, the AME - Avionics “E” is responsible for the certification of an aircraft after maintenance, inspection, repair or modification. This is a position requiring a high degree of responsibility and skill, which includes:

Responsibilities

• Inspection, troubleshooting, and repair avionics and electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company maintenance procedures
• Support pilots and engineers with avionics-related issues
• Supervising, performing and documenting routine avionics related maintenance.
• Other Duties as required by the Shop Supervisors and/or the Director of Maintenance Organization

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E license
