Job summary

Canadian Helicopters Limited, founded 1947, is seeking a permanent full-time M-Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Halifax, NS. The role reports to the base Supervisory Base AME and involves planning and performing aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the hangar and equipment.

Ideal candidates will hold a Transport Canada M1/M2 AME license, with Sikorsky S76 or other multi-eng IFR helicopter experience as a plus. Willingness to relocate to the Halifax area is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 rated AME license.
• ACA on Sikorsky S76 or other multi-eng IFR helicopter would be a definite asset.
• 3–5 years helicopter maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain RAIC and Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) for airport airside access.
• Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Halifax area.

We currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time M-Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Halifax (Enfield), NS.

Job Description

Reporting to the base Supervisory Base AME, duties include:

• Planning and performing aircraft maintenance.
• Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Organizing and maintaining the hangar and support equipment.
• Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 rated AME license.
• Holding or having held ACA on the Sikorsky S76 series or other multi-engined IFR helicopter would be a definite asset.

3 To 5 Years Of Helicopter Maintenance Experience Preferred.

• Must be able to obtain Access to Controlled Goods authority and a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) for airport airside access.
• Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
• Must be organized and a self-starter.
• Must be customer focused and be a team player.
• Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Halifax area.
