Job summary

Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a full-time, permanent licensed Avionics Specialist to join our line maintenance team at the Villeneuve Airport in the greater Edmonton area.

The role involves troubleshooting, inspection and maintenance on Bell and Airbus aircraft within a hangar-based service centre, with a Monday to Friday schedule and competitive benefits including RRSP matching.

Qualifications

  • AME license with 4–5 years of licensed experience in repair and troubleshooting avionics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, service and maintain avionics on aircraft including Bell 206, Bell 407, Bell Medium, Airbus AS 350, EC 120 and EC 130.
  • Ensure safety and quality workmanship in line maintenance while collaborating with the team.

Job Description

Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. is looking for a full-time, permanent licensed Avionics Specialist to join our line maintenance team. You will be working at our Bell/Airbus/Safran Service Centre, located at the Villeneuve Airport in the greater Edmonton area.

Highlights:
  • Minimal travel and field work, so great for family/work-life balance.
  • Majority of maintenance is performed in our hangar, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspection, servicing, maintenance on various aircraft as follows: Bell 206 Series, Bell 407, Bell Medium aircraft, Airbus AS 350 Series, EC 120, EC 130.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will possess an AME license with at least 4-5 years of licensed experience in repair and troubleshooting of avionics with an excellent safety record. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, team-oriented and able to work under pressure.
