We are seeking a motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Cat. E – Avionics Apprentice to join our Base Maintenance team in Richmond, BC. As an AME‑E Apprentice (Avionics), you will develop hands‑on avionics maintenance experience under the supervision of licensed engineers while progressing toward your Transport Canada AME‑E licence. You will play a key role in maintaining the airworthiness, safety, and reliability of the helicopter fleet in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform avionics maintenance tasks under supervision in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
  • Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of avionics systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities within approved scope.
  • Ensure all documentation used is current and at correct revision status.
  • Stay current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data.
  • Maintain proper tool control and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required, including shift work and occasional weekends.
Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of a Transport Canada approved AME‑E diploma programme.
  • Legal right to live and work in Canada.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an avionics apprentice is an asset.

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
