Job summary

Tronosjet Maintenance Inc (TJM) is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) for Heavy Maintenance at our Slemon Park facility in Summerside, PEI. AMEs report to the Maintenance Manager and perform inspections, troubleshoot defects and rectify as per OEM and Transport Canada standards.

Responsibilities include disassembly, repair, troubleshooting and documentation of maintenance actions to ensure safe, compliant service on BAe 146/ Avro RJ, Dash 8, ATR aircraft types.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME).
  • Valid AME licence (Category M1 and/or M2).
  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a TC-approved institution.
  • BAe146, DH8 or ATR experience/endorsements are an asset.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented work with ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble airframes, engines or systems for repair, clean, inspect and overhaul; reassemble for service.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot structural, mechanical or hydraulic problems and repair per specs and drawings.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per manufacturer requirements.
  • Work effectively in a team to maintain production and quality levels.
  • Support TJM Safety Management System by reporting hazards and incidents.

Job description

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Tronosjet Maintenance Inc (TJM) is looking for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) for completion of Heavy Maintenance at our Slemon Park facility in Summerside, PEI. AMEs will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for performing aircraft inspections, troubleshoot defects and carry out rectifications per OEM and Transport Canada standards. TJM performs Heavy Maintenance on the following Aircraft types BAe 146/ Avro RJ, Dash 8 100 200 300 Q400 , ATR 42/72 Aircraft.

AME Responsibilities
  • Disassemble airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, clean, inspect and or overhaul. reassemble Aircraft and components for return to service.
  • Ensure that all maintenance operations are conducted in accordance with company policies /procedures and relevant regulatory authority.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft's structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust/repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures.
  • Perform and document scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance as dictated by the manufacturer per our customer request.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to maintain a high level of production and quality
  • Participate in the TJM Safety Management System including report hazards and incidents encountered during daily operations.
Required Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • Valid AME licence (Category M1 and/or M2).
  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational institution.
  • BAe146, DH8 or ATR Experience and/or endorsements is an asset.
  • Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with high attention to detail.
  • Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions.
