Job summary

Voyageur Aviation Corp. seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for Kingston, ON. You will perform maintenance on company aircraft, troubleshoot systems, and ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • Valid AME license (Category M1 minimum).
  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada approved institution.
  • Diamond DA20/DA40/DA42 experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Dismantle airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, inspection or overhaul.
  • Troubleshoot structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems and repair per specs.
  • Coordinate and perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of company aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot complex defects and carry out corrective actions as required.
  • Release maintenance work after audits and in line with policies/regulations.
  • Provide guidance to Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
