Job summary

Executrade is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to inspect, repair, and test aircraft systems in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The role emphasizes adherence to airworthiness standards, LRUs replacement, and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
• Remove and replace LRUs and aircraft components per manuals.
• Perform maintenance in shops and on the flight line with proper safety practices.
• Maintain records and documentation for maintenance actions.
• Support leadership and desk controller duties as required.

We are seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) for one of our clients. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems to ensure safe, reliable, and mission-ready operations. This hands-on position involves removing and replacing line replaceable units (LRUs) and components, conducting maintenance and servicing activities, interpreting technical documentation, and supporting overall aircraft availability.

This position is based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and functional testing of aircraft systems.
  • Ensure compliance with airworthiness standards and maintenance procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues to support operational readiness.
• Component Servicing & Replacement
  • Remove and replace line replaceable units (LRUs) and aircraft components.
  • Interpret technical publications, drawings, diagrams, and schematics to support maintenance activities.
• Specialized Shop & Flight Line Operations
  • Conduct maintenance and servicing activities in specialized shops and on the flight line.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and support equipment required for assigned duties.
  • Order aircraft spare parts and materials as required.
• Collaboration & Documentation
  • Provide updates and debriefs to Team Leads as required.
  • Complete maintenance records and required documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environment.
• Leadership & Support Duties
  • Fulfill Desk Controller responsibilities when required.
  • Contribute to safe operations, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifcations

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

• Education & Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in first-line maintenance activities.
  • Transport Canada M1/M2 certification or equivalent Canadian Armed Forces training.
  • Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, valid Work Permit, or ability to obtain eligibility).
  • Second-line maintenance experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience in life cycle support activities is considered an asset.
  • Equivalent international certifications (FAA A&P, EASA B1/B2, or equivalent) are welcomed.
