Job summary

CanWest Air and Alberta Central Airways in Canada is seeking qualified AMEs to join our maintenance team, supporting a diverse fleet. We provide structured training programs and opportunities for career growth in a safety-focused environment.

Minimum requirements include a valid Transport Canada AME M1 license (M2 an asset), a valid drivers license, and the ability to travel between Canada and the USA. A clean Vulnerable Sector Check is also required.

Position Details

We operate a diverse fleet, including:

  • Cessna Grand Caravan C208B
  • Cessna 206
  • King Air 200/250
  • King Air 350

Our maintenance department typically works a structured week-day day-shift schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday
  • 7:00am - 5:30pm daily
  • Rotational on call schedule for after hours and weekends
  • Occasional overtime to complete maintenance events with minimal aircraft downtime
Minimum Requirements

Requirements vary based on aircraft type and position. Successful candidates must meet the following minimums:

AME Requirements:

  • Valid Transport Canada AME M1 License (M2 an asset)
  • Valid drivers license
  • Valid passport and ability to travel between Canada and the USA unrestricted
  • Clean Vulnerable Sector Check
