Job summary

SkyCare Air Ambulance is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to perform maintenance and oversee troubleshooting for a diverse fleet assigned to medevac and time-critical missions. You will work in a fast-paced environment with rotations and travel considerations as needed.

The role requires a Transport Canada AME M1 License and 2+ years of maintenance experience, with exposure to Navajo/Metro/Westwind assets considered an asset.

  • Exposure to Engine work supporting internal engine shop.
  • Exposure to Structures, Avionics, and Modification specialties in fully rated AMO.

Join SkyCare's Maintenance team and play an important role in supporting aircraft that deliver life-saving medevac services and specialized charter operations across Canada, North America, and the Caribbean. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will help ensure the safety, reliability, and readiness of our fleet through hands-on maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in a dynamic operational environment.

In this role, you'll go beyond routine maintenance. You'll be supporting time-sensitive missions that directly impact remote communities and critical care transport. The environment is fast-paced and varied, offering exposure to diverse aircraft and real-time operational challenges.

  • Compensation: Up to $60/hour, dependent on qualification, shift premium and base premium
  • Salary $ 22.00 to $ 49.00 HOUR hourly
