Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide on-site technical support for aircraft landing systems in the Ajax/Mississauga area. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and retrofit activities, with collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Program teams.

Candidates must be able to travel and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with technical reporting systems.
  • Ability to self-inspect work with high attention to detail.
  • Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining safety.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team work.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally if required.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION: $90k-$97k - Onsite in Ajax & Mississauga - Full-time

As a Field Service Representative you will act as the primary technical support contact for customers, supporting aircraft manufacturers, operators, and airlines with troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements, retrofit activities, and operational issues related to landing systems. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Program teams to resolve technical challenges, document service interventions, coordinate tooling and spare parts, and provide hands‑on support at customer sites, requiring participation in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to meet customer schedules and operational demands.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and other technical documentation
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Experience working with technical reporting systems
  • Ability to self-inspect work utilizing strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions while maintaining safe work practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally if required
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Licensed AME or equivalent
  • Experience with landing gear
