Job summary

Lufthansa Group in Canada seeks an Aircraft Loading Supervisor to coordinate ground handling and ensure safety and efficiency across all loading operations. You will lead service partners and manage weight and balance documentation, contributing to on-time departures.

You will supervise ramp activities, coordinate cargo, catering, cleanup, boarding, and related processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards and airline procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree desirable but not required.
• 1–3 years in aircraft handling or knowledge of passenger handling/gate processes desirable.
• Fluency in English language required.
• German and other language desirable.
• Knowledge of airport procedures and processes.
• Valid ALS Qualification and SERP planning knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Weight and Balance documentation with LHG Centralized Load Control.
• Maintain daily trip files and all aircraft-handling statistics.
• Supervise ramp functions and operational safety checks before departure.
• Coordinate all phases of aircraft handling (catering, cleaning, fueling, cargo, boarding, pushback).
• Supervise service partners and ensure proper cargo buildup for bulk loading or ULDs.
