WorkSafeBC in Richmond, BC, is hiring a Manager, AI Operations to shape the AI infrastructure and operational capabilities across the organization. You will lead strategy, planning, and delivery of agentic AI systems, including copilots and autonomous agents, ensuring stability, security, and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for senior leadership roles.
• Minimum 8 years of directly related management experience in AI/tech operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the AI infrastructure strategy, architecture, and operational framework.
• Lead AI Operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable AI services.
• Develop DR strategies and governance for AI systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, and legal teams to uphold responsible AI practices.
