Job summary

MDA Space is seeking an AI Program Manager to join our Montreal-based satellite systems team. The role partners with business units to enable responsible AI adoption across the organization, translating strategy into execution and coordinating delivery.

The successful candidate will lead AI projects, govern data security and governance, and drive knowledge sharing while aligning with policies and standards. Bilingual English/French proficient, with 5+ years in program delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program management, operations, product enablement, or tech delivery roles.
• Experience with AI, data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of GenAI, enterprise use cases, safety, prompts, and adoption metrics.
• Ability to coordinate teams, manage priorities, and deliver across multiple initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including training content.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and evolving tech.
• Bilingual French/English (contact outside Quebec & Ontario head office).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of core enterprise AI initiatives.
• Develop, prioritize, and coordinate the AI roadmap for the business unit.
• Coordinate with internal AI development team on evaluation, benchmarking, data creation, and tools development while ensuring policy compliance.
• Translate strategic AI directions into actionable plans and day-to-day execution.
• Monitor deployed AI tools and coordinate timely resolution with relevant teams.
