Job summary

GroupHEALTH Benefit Solutions in Surrey, BC is seeking a Director of Data & Intelligence to architect and lead the data, analytics, BI, and AI capabilities that fuel growth. You will own the full data value chain, from governance to advancing AI/ML programs for pricing and service enhancements.

This hybrid role is based in Surrey, with 3 days in office and 2 days from home. You will define the 12-month roadmap and drive cross-functional collaboration with actuaries, CFO, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in data, analytics, and data leadership; at least 3 years at Director/Head level.
• Must have built or scaled a data and analytics function, not only managed an established team.

Responsibilities

• Own the 12-month Data & Intelligence strategy and roadmap.
• Lead data platform consolidation and governance across source systems.
• Oversee AI program from strategy to production with governance.
• Partner with Actuary and Underwriting on pricing analytics.
