Job summary

Sage Recruiting Inc. is seeking a seasoned Team Lead for an AI-powered meeting intelligence product. You’ll stay hands-on most of the time, engineering complex architecture while guiding a growing team.

You’ll own backlog, run agile ceremonies, and ensure robust test automation and deployment practices across the stack. You are fluent in C#/.NET and TypeScript, comfortable with REST APIs, and can articulate trade-offs to leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven Team Lead experience with design ownership and reporting timelines.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows in development.
• Strong architecture and systems design instincts.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Solid foundation in C#/.NET (NET 10), TypeScript, and REST API design.
• CI/CD ownership and cloud deployment experience (AWS preferred).
• Unit and integration testing as a core practice.

Responsibilities

• Stay hands-on: 60–70% coding, architecture and system design while scaling the team.
• Own the backlog with the product owner: grooming, estimation and sprint planning.
• Hold regular 1:1s and check-ins, flag delays or blockers.
• Partner with the tester on coverage and test automation for AI features.
• Track tech debt and dependencies, communicate with product.
• Own high-level system architecture and end-to-end workflow design.
• Represent technical decisions in bi-weekly leadership meetings.
• Mentor and coach the team, including performance reviews.
• Build out team process as headcount doubles.
