Job summary

Fleetworthy's Data Operations team is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge strategy and delivery. You'll translate high-level initiatives into clear, actionable requirements for Data Platform and Data Services teams, working with senior leadership and stakeholders across Revenue, Finance, Product, and Enterprise domains.

You’ll create epics and Jira tickets, document decisions in Confluence, and use AI tools to accelerate analyses.

Qualifications

5-7 years as a Business Analyst, Technical BA, or similar role.
Experience with data platforms, BI tools, or analytics environments.
AI/LLM tool proficiency and ability to translate business needs into tech requirements.

Responsibilities

Gain high-level understanding from leadership and flesh out details.
Conduct follow-up interviews with stakeholders to uncover granular requirements.
Transform vague asks into real specs: sources, definition of done, sign-off, priorities.
Use AI tools to analyze Slack & Email threads, draft requirements, and explore data.
Create well-structured epics and Jira tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
Work with Data Platform and Data Services managers to prioritize and plan work.
Keep multiple initiatives moving and coordinate cross-team handoffs.
Maintain Confluence documentation of design decisions and findings.
