Job summary

Jobber is seeking a Manager, Credit Risk to build and lead a high-impact team in our Fintech function. You will shape AI-native risk frameworks and work with Data Science to deploy models across payments and lending initiatives.

You will partner with product, finance, and customer support to embed credit risk policies, automate decisions, and monitor portfolio health in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated credit risk experience in fintech, payments, or lending.
• Experience leading or mentoring an analyst team.
• Builder mindset with a track record of automation and tooling.
• Data-centric decision making with ability to work directly with data.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python to pull and analyze data.
• Familiarity with risk scoring methods and GAAP/IFRS9 provisioning is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate findings for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Credit Risk team and define its operating model.
• Oversee underwriting, exposure decisions, portfolio monitoring, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Data Science to improve models and decision logic.
• Champion AI-native risk approaches and automation across workflows.
• Embed risk policies into product and operational workflows.
• Develop provisioning and reserving aligned with IFRS9/GAAP.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual risk processes end-to-end.
• Report risk exposure and trends to leadership.
