Job description

Valsoft is seeking a visionary and execution-driven leader to scale our next AI-powered vertical SaaS company. This is an opportunity to take an idea from zero to revenue, backed by our team of operators and proven go-to-market playbooks.

You will be responsible for validating ideas, shipping early product, leading go-to-market, and securing investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a new B2B SaaS business built around AI innovation in a vertical software market.
  • Validate and test multiple ideas quickly with support from experienced operators.
  • Build prototypes and MVPs to gain customer insights and sharpen product direction.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Own go-to-market: identify early adopters, iterate on positioning, and close first customers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships to accelerate revenue growth.
  • Own and operate the business with full autonomy.
  • Strong financial acumen with a proven track record of managing P&L, driving profitability, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Early-stage leadership experience in a tech startup is an asset.
  • Proven track record in product development and execution.
  • Deep industry knowledge or a strong hypothesis around where AI can unlock value.
  • Generalist strengths in one or more areas: product, sales, engineering, design, growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree: Master of Business Administration (MBA) is considered an asset.
