Job summary

Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology is seeking a Specialist, AI Adoption & Enablement to lead the human side of AI transformation. You will design learning programs and collaborate with leaders to translate AI into practical workplace improvements.

The role reports to the Associate Manager, Employee Learning and Development and works with the Director, AI to build capabilities, foster responsible adoption, and enable continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum four-year degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Education, Adult Learning, Change Management, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of related experience in supporting AI adoption, digital technologies, or emerging tech.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, generative AI, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices; strong change management and learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging AI learning experiences, workshops, and development programs.
• Create resources like playbooks, prompt libraries, job aids, and self-service tools.
• Partner with departments to identify AI opportunities to improve processes and decision-making; coach leaders on practical AI applications.
