Job summary

ICTC is seeking a Specialist, Industrial AI & Digital Skills to serve as an embedded Applied AI Subject Matter Expert within its learning and workforce development team. The role blends hands-on AI practice with learner-centered facilitation and requires translating complex AI concepts into practical business value.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Instructional Design, Education Tech, CS, Eng, IT or related field.
  • Graduate degree or CPLP is a strong asset.
  • Credentials in AI, ML, data analytics, automation or digital transformation preferred.
  • Background in technology education (cloud, IoT, AI) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as ICTC's internal Applied AI Subject Matter Expert.
  • Build, test, evaluate, and demonstrate AI-enabled workflows and productivity solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools for workforce development and adoption.
  • Develop demonstrations, use cases, and hands-on exercises for learners.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to learners on AI projects and placements.
  • Advise teams on AI trends, responsible use, and adoption approaches.
  • Maintain current knowledge of AI, automation, data analytics, and productivity tech.
