BASF Agricultural Solutions is offering a Technical Agronomy Summer Intern position in Winnipeg, MB. You’ll join a team shaping the future of farming while gaining hands-on experience across seeding, spraying, harvesting, and evaluating crop trials.

The 4-month internship (Summer 2027) invites currently enrolled agriculture science students who are ready to learn, travel within the region, and contribute to real-world agronomic trials under supervision.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program.
Enthusiastic about agronomy and eager to learn.
Strong communicator with a commitment to safety.
Able to travel within your assigned region and work independently.
Valid driver’s licence required.
Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.

Responsibilities

Organize and manage large-scale trials (e.g., InVigor Demonstration Strip Trials).
Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides.
Support customer tours and presentations.
Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers.
Complete and present a demand creation or research project.
