Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Retail Field Intern - Agronomy Assistant for a 2027 Summer Internship in Vauxhall, AB. This on-site role offers hands-on experience learning full-acre agronomy solutions.

You will assist agronomists with crop scouting, soil sampling, data collection, and planning field days, while building relationships with growers and internal teams. Ideal candidates are agriculture students with a graduation date in December 2027 or later and a valid Canadian driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Agriculture program with interest in crop production.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist agronomists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and data collection
• Interpret data to provide recommendations on fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs
• Assist with the planning and execution of field days and grower meetings
• Maintain strong relationships with growers and internal teams
• Adhere to Nutrien's EH&S standards and culture of care
