Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience repairing agricultural equipment or related mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of engines, electrical, hydraulics.
• Ability to use diagnostic software and electronic service tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to ongoing technical training.
• Experience with John Deere or competitive products is a plus.
• Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanship
• Use diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and complete complex repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specifications
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentation
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products and other equipment supported by the dealership
• Participate in manufacturer, dealer-led, and technical training programs to further develop skills and technical capabilities
• Work closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectively
