Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with agricultural, automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, construction or related complex mechanical repairs.
• Strong knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and powertrain components.
• Ability to use diagnostic software, electronic service tools, and basic computer functions.
• Commitment to professional development and ongoing technical training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanship.
• Use diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and complete complex repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products and other equipment supported by the dealership.
• Participate in manufacturer, dealer-led, and technical training programs to further develop skills and technical capabilities.
• Work closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectively.
