Nelson Motors and Equipment seeks an Agricultural Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and turf equipment in-field and in-shop. You will service John Deere equipment and mentor apprentices while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a certified trade and at least five years of hands-on experience, with strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge and the ability to lift 75 lbs. Valid driver's license is essential.

• Completed a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar.

About The Role

As an Agricultural Equipment Technician, you are self-motivated to perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment while supporting an exceptional customer experience. You work effectively both in-field and in-shop, building strong relationships with customers, junior technicians, and other location personnel.

For you to be considered for an interview you have the following qualifications:

• Completed a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar. May consider 3rd or 4th level apprentice; John Deere certified a strong asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing diagnostics and service repairs. Experience servicing John Deere equipment preferred.
• Computer skills required, Service Advisor and/or Service Center an asset.
• Physically capable to perform the job, with the ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required.
