Job summary

Nelson Motors and Equipment in Radville, SK is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Technician who will diagnose, service, and maintain agricultural and turf equipment both in the field and in the shop, delivering a customer‑focused, quality‑driven service.

You will join a team with John Deere equipment focus, minimum 5 years of diagnostics experience, certified trade, strong diagnostic skills, physical capability to lift 75 lbs, and a valid driver's license; the role offers competitive wages,

Qualifications

Certified trade in agriculture equipment or heavy‑duty mechanics.
5+ years of diagnostics and service repairs experience.
Experience servicing John Deere equipment preferred.
Proficient computer skills; Service Advisor and/or Service Center an asset.
Physically capable to lift at least 75 lbs and holds a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostics on agricultural and turf equipment.
Service repairs and maintenance in field and shop.
Build strong relationships with customers, junior technicians, and location staff.
Lead by example and support a strong team environment.
Troubleshoot to deliver high quality service with minimal errors.

About the Role

As an Agricultural Equipment Technician, you are self ‑ motivated to perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment while supporting an exceptional customer experience. You work effectively both in ‑ field and in ‑ shop, building strong relationships with customers, junior technicians, and other location personnel.

For you to be considered for an interview you have the following qualifications:

Completed a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar. May consider 3rd or 4th level apprentice; John Deere certified a strong asset.

Minimum 5 years of experience performing diagnostics and service repairs. Experience servicing John Deere equipment preferred.

Computer skills required, Service Advisor and/or Service Center an asset.

Physically capable to perform the job, with the ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license required.
