Job summary

Richardson International Limited offers a one-year Agribusiness Assistant (ABAs) development program through Richardson Pioneer. Graduates gain exposure to major areas within agribusiness and agronomy across our centres, developing foundational skills for a successful career in agriculture.

The program focuses on crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling, sales, and operations, with hands-on experience and exposure to budgeting, business planning, and scheduling, preparing ABAs for defined career

Qualifications

• Agriculture or Business degree or diploma with interest in the agricultural industry
• Interest in agronomy, agribusiness, crop input sales or grain marketing
• Strong sense of initiative
• Excellent customer service
• Leadership and teamwork skills
• Organized and detail oriented; valid driver’s license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Agribusiness Assistant will gain experience in crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling, customer service, grain grading, grain blending, grain marketing, sales, operations management including exposure to budgeting, business planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma program and interest in working in the agricultural industry
• Interest in a career in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Crop Input Sales or Grain Marketing
