Job summary

Richardson International, a Canadian agribusiness leader, offers a one-year Agribusiness Assistant development program through Richardson Pioneer. Graduates gain exposure to agronomy, grain handling, crop inputs and customer service across our network.

You will work in crop inputs, marketing, budgeting, and scheduling while developing leadership and teamwork skills. Applicants should have an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma program and interest in working in the agricultural industry.
• Interest in a career in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Crop Input Sales or Grain Marketing.
• Strong sense of initiative and excellent customer service, leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• The Agribusiness Assistant will gain experience in crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling, customer service, grain grading, grain blending, grain marketing, sales, and operations management including budgeting, business planning and scheduling.
• Exposure to budgeting, business planning and scheduling, with mentoring across Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centres.
