Job summary

Allstate Insurance Company of Canada - Permanent is seeking an Agency Manager to lead a sales team and shape a growth-focused business plan. This hybrid role entails developing agency portfolios, building community influence, and driving performance metrics while delivering a high-quality client experience.

You will recruit, coach, and mentor staff, execute strategic plans, and oversee day-to-day operations under the Director of Business Development.

Qualifications

At least 7 years of management experience, including 2 years leading a sales team.
Must hold an OTL license or be willing to obtain one.
Well connected in the community with ability to build a strategic marketing plan.
Ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan.
Strong coaching, team building, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proven track record of achieving performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Develop a quality agency portfolio with finances, operations, recruiting and marketing strategies.
Identify and build centres of influence in the community.
Drive agency results across quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Recruit and maintain a pipeline of candidates for agency roles.
Lead, coach, and mentor staff to reach their potential.
Develop and implement rigorous business plans and retention strategies.
Deliver Allstate Brand Value Proposition for high-quality client experience.
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks.
Other tasks as assigned by Director.
