Hawk's Agro is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to build strong relationships with producers while driving sales growth across an assigned territory.

As a trusted advisor, you will work directly with growers to understand their operations, recommend crop input solutions, and deliver exceptional service throughout the growing season. You'll collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Agronomists, and Operations teams to provide agronomic expertise, identify new business opportunities, and help customers achieve long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
• Promote and sell seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and agronomic solutions.
• Grow existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Prepare crop plans, quotations, and recommendations tailored to customer needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and product innovations.
• Support seasonal promotions and customer engagement initiatives.

Customer Relationships

• Build trusted, long-term relationships through regular farm visits and proactive customer support.
• Understand customer operations and provide practical solutions to help achieve their business goals.
• Collaborate with Agronomists to deliver sound agronomic recommendations.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company systems.

Technical and Operational Support

• Maintain current knowledge of crop production practices and crop input products.
• Work closely with manufacturer representatives and internal teams to provide technical support.
• Participate in field tours, plot programs, grower meetings, and educational events.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
• Support credit management, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Business, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Two to five years of experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, ag retail, or farming operations.
• Strong knowledge of crop production, seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales objectives.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
