Job summary

A leading educational provider in Toronto is seeking a dedicated Little Readers Teacher/Tutor to assist young learners in developing essential reading skills. This part-time role involves conducting in-person lessons, supervising students, and maintaining effective communication. Ideal candidates should possess a relevant degree or certification, teaching experience, and strong communication skills. The position requires availability on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a similar relevant certification is required.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.
• Some experience teaching or tutoring at a relevant level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to five students at a time at different levels using proprietary materials.
• Conduct in-person lessons on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
• Complete post-lesson notes and maintain daily communication updates.
