Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Quebec seeks an afternoon Production Supervisor to lead production teams, coordinate milk processing and packaging, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. Reporting to the Production and Maintenance Manager, you’ll drive efficiency and teamwork.

The role requires a college diploma or university degree and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized, food-manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of personnel supervision experience.
• Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is considered an asset.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities through to shipping (milk receiving and processing, production, packaging, aging, and shipping).
• Ensure adherence to production plans and product quality standards.
• Supervise and develop production teams; lead training and safety initiatives.
• Ensure appropriate use of raw materials, ingredients and cleaning products.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and environmental programs.
