Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Production Supervisor in Quebec to lead end-to-end production operations, manage teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will collaborate with the Production Manager to meet targets and drive process improvements in a dairy manufacturing environment.

The role requires at least two years in supervision, a relevant college or bachelor’s degree, and a knowledge of French for Quebec positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the food or dairy industry is an asset.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• A college diploma or bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, food processing, or related field is required.
• Equivalent education or experience may be considered.

• Lead end-to-end production operations from raw materials through shipment.
• Deliver the production plan with targets for volume, quality and cost.
• Plan and optimize resource utilization including labor and inputs.
• Supervise and develop teams, including hiring, training and performance management.

• Ensure health & safety, quality and food safety standards including sanitation oversight.

Reporting to the **Production Manager**, the supervisor plays a key role in achieving production targets in terms of quality, volume, cost, and delivery timelines, while fostering a strong culture of health and safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
